BrainChip Holdings Ltd and MYWAI have announced a strategic partnership to deliver next-generation Edge AI solutions. The partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of Edge AI in industrial and robotic sectors and generate value for both companies and their customers.
BrainChip is a world-leading provider of ultra-low power, fully digital, event-based, neuromorphic AI IP. It developed Akida, a processor that mimics the human brain and processes data with efficiency and economy of energy. MYWAI, on the other hand, is the leading AIoT solution provider for Edge intelligence in the European Union (EU).
The partnership will leverage BrainChip’s Akida and MYWAI’s AIoT Platform for EaaS (Equipment as a Service). The platform enables the streaming, processing, and preparation of multimodal sensor data for Edge AI. It also manages the Machine Learning Engineering for Production (MLOps) workflows and the Digital Ledger Technology (DLT) certification of data and outcomes, in line with new EU regulations for trustworthy AI.
The focus of the partnership will be on developing and delivering robotic solutions for industries such as manufacturing, logistics, energy management, and healthcare. This collaboration will allow customers to deploy AI at the edge of their equipment, achieving unprecedented performance, efficiency, and security.
Fabrizio Cardinali, CEO of MYWAI, stated that the partnership aims to add intelligence to processes and machinery at the edge, using Generative AI on the cloud and trustworthy AI at the edge.
