GGV Capital U.S. has released its second annual Fintech Innovation 50 list, which recognizes the 50 most promising fintech companies as voted by 44 prominent venture capital firms. The list includes early- and mid-stage companies as well as late-stage companies, all of which have raised a combined total of approximately $12bn. GGV Capital is a longtime investor in the global fintech sector, boasting over 10 investments in companies such as Affirm, Aven, Block, Divvy Homes and Novo. The firm launched the Innovation 50 list in order to track the fintech sector’s evolution and recognize rising fintech stars annually.
