Thales uncovers: Banking Sector leads in Consumer Digital Trust

Banks, healthcare providers, and government services are the most trusted sectors when it comes to digital security and protecting personal data, according to the 2024 Thales Digital Trust Index. The index, which surveyed over 12,400 consumers globally, also found that media and entertainment, social media, and logistics companies ranked lowest in the trust rankings. The survey also revealed that over a quarter of consumers had abandoned a brand or service in the past year due to privacy concerns. The research emphasised the importance of organisations delivering both security and seamless online experiences to build trust with customers.
